Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Edit Your Caption (the “Service”), a product operated by Vanya Store (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Edit Your Caption lets you upload video, generate captions using automated transcription, edit and style them, and export the result. Features available to you depend on your plan.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of the video, audio, text, and other content you upload (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and transmit Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you (including sending audio to our transcription provider). You are responsible for having the rights to any content you upload, and for ensuring it does not infringe others’ rights or break the law.

4. Acceptable use

• Don’t use the Service for unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
• Don’t attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service.
• Don’t resell or misrepresent the Service as your own.

5. Plans, billing & renewals

Paid plans are billed in advance for the stated period. Payments are processed by our payment partners — Razorpay (INR) and Stripe (USD) — and appear on your statement billed by Vanya Store. Taxes may apply. Usage limits (such as transcription and export minutes) are described on the pricing and billing pages. See our Refund Policy for cancellations and refunds.

6. Availability & changes

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Automated transcription may contain errors. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. On termination, your right to use the Service ends.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the courts of the jurisdiction in which Vanya Store is registered.
